Christian Losiewski — Instructor

Christian Losiewski began his career in professional dog training in 2010, specializing in obedience, behavior modification, and the development of working dogs. He started early assisting in training with Special Forces K9s, and military police working dogs. His passion for working canines led him into law enforcement, where he served as a K-9 Handler and Canine Officer from 2015 to 2020.

During his law-enforcement career, Christian advanced to become his department’s K-9 Sergeant. As a handler, he was involved in high-level narcotics and contraband detection operations and established numerous county records for felony narcotics arrests and illegal contraband recoveries. He also regularly assisted multi-agency task forces while continuing to play an active role in the training and development of police K-9 teams.

Following his law-enforcement career, Christian expanded his work into police, military, and specialized working-dog programs throughout the United States. He has worked with departments and specialized military units, providing hands-on training, seminars, and instruction in working-dog development, K-9 operations, and the integration of K-9 teams into S.W.A.T. operations.

Christian has also developed a specialized breeding program focused on producing high-quality working Belgian Malinois. The program utilizes carefully selected KNPV-line Malinois, with an emphasis on producing dogs capable of meeting the demanding requirements of law enforcement and military applications. Dogs produced through the program have been placed with police and military personnel and organizations.

In addition to breeding and training, Christian has placed numerous dual-purpose police K-9s with agencies and handlers across the United States. These dogs have been developed to perform multiple operational roles, combining capabilities such as patrol work, detection, tracking, and apprehension to meet the specific needs of individual departments and working environments.

Christian has served as the Western Regional Director for the FSPCA, a national police K-9 certification organization, and has conducted seminars and training programs for law-enforcement agencies, military organizations, and corrections K-9 programs.

His experience extends beyond traditional working dogs. Christian has pursued hands-on training and experience with a variety of exotic and wild canids, including wolves, coyotes, and foxes, further developing his understanding of canine behavior, communication, and environmental influences.

Today, Christian focuses on helping pet owners throughout Michigan build better relationships with their dogs through practical obedience training and behavior modification. Drawing on more than a decade of experience spanning pet dogs, police K-9s, military working dogs, breeding, and specialized canine operations, Christian brings a real-world, results-driven approach to every dog and handler he works with.

Christian is proud to bring his experience, knowledge, and passion for working dogs and canine behavior to Real World K-9, LLC, and looks forward to helping you and your dog succeed.
