Are you looking for help in training your K-9? Real World K-9 can help you achieve your training goals in obedience, personal protection, dog aggression/reactivity. It's important to set a training schedule in order to set you and your dog up for success, as well as give you the knowledge needed to apply methods to your dog that have proven to be successful. Board and Train for every dog.

Real World K-9's board and train program is structured to produce the best results for your dog as well as teach YOU and your family the principals of training a dog! Our process to get to that point is training using principals including operant conditioning and classic conditioning. One of the most recurrent issues we see with dogs is aggression and reactivity. We pride ourselves in specializing in dogs needing help with aggression, reactivity, and obedience. We work with your dog day in and day out to confront the issues they are having, teach them the wrong response vs the right response followed by the appropriate follow through. By having a fair direct follow through associated with the bad behavior, we are able to successfully teach each dog that these behaviors will have an undesired outcome rather than earning a high value reward for the absence of the bad behavior in trigger situations.
Each year I'm honored to be selected as West Michigan's top referral from vet offices across our state in dealing with dogs that are having behavioral issues! I love networking throughout this state with the wonderful dog owners who occupy it. We promise to provide you with the best results that we can produce and we approach every dogs situation differently to meet their needs.

Group Classes
Our group classes are a great way to lay a foundation for dogs at every level. I practice socialization through neutrality during the class which has proven to be the most effective way to socialize dogs over and over. Our group classes are cost efficient, fun, and offer a boatload of information that you can take home and apply toward not only your dog in the class but other dogs at home as well. We teach techniques, methods, and various tips that coincide with the principles of dog training. During our basic obedience class we teach behaviors like; sit, down, leave it, stay, come, leash manners, and more. The class is geared to give you the tools to go home and apply each week of class toward a common goal. There is a test at the end of each course we offer.
